Why Casa Connections?
Hiring a contractor is the part of home remodeling that causes more fear and anxiety than any other phase.
We strive to be a company you can trust to do a good job for a fair price.
Casa Connections has an acute sense of detail and understands the
homeowners needs for speed and accuracy.
Developing a contract
When you have made your decision to hire Casa Connections, together we will need to make a contract agreement. This contract protects both the homeowner and Casa Connections. It details all the specific information and requirements of the project, as well as guidelines and schedules for payments. Each contract should accurately detail the following:
- The address of the project
- Names and addresses of both parties
- Detailed description of the work to be completed, including any work to be completed by the project owner
- Detailed information about materials, fixtures, and hardware, including what are acceptable/unacceptable substitutions
- Any warrantees on work and materials
- A list of all permits needed and who will be responsible for acquiring them
- Project start and completion dates including any acceptable reasons for delay (weather, backordered materials, etc.)
- Detailed payment information including amounts and dates of each payment (usually 50% in advance, another payment midway, and the final payment, usually about 15%, after completion and final approval)
- A change-order clause, which specifies any provisions and charges for changes made after the start of the project
- Final site cleanup after project completion, detailing who is responsible for cleaning up and trash removal
